Oh, Sweet Lexi

My husband's family came down from Oregon for a visit and I was so excited when they allowed me to capture their beautiful daughter, Lexi. She is a sweet little girl and took my direction during the shoot very well. My daughter also got in on the shoot, mostly chasing the ducks!!

Bentley {Newborn}

My first newborn baby BOY. I tried to be a little more adventurous with this one and take the session outside while it was still warm. Luckily, we are in Southern California and there are no such things as the four seasons, ha!

Tenley {Newborn Cuteness}

I can't get enough of babies and their adorableness. I am beginning to think they are mymost favorite to capture. It makes it a lot easier when I have my in-home studio and lighting with all the cute little props I get to use -- and I just keep wanting more! 

{Engagement} & {Family}

I am so happy to say, I finally did my first engagement shoot and it was a success. The clients, who are really good friends of my husband and I, enjoyed themselves during the session and made my job quite easy. They also have their first son and child together so I was excited to take their family photos as well. I must say, they are a beautiful looking family! Check out the photos in my gallery titled "John, Emily & JR".

Retirement Ceremony {USMC}

I had a fun time taking pictures of a retirement ceremony for one of my husband's great mentors and friend in the United States Marine Corps. After serving 20 brave and dedicated years in the USMC, MSgt Keith now retires and joins his beautiful family to a new chapter in life together. I am so glad to have captured this moment for them. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them (I snuck in a few with my husband and daughter, too...hehe).
